Gundam vs Hello Kitty Project Winner and Short Anime

There is a collaboration between Sotsu Co., Ltd. and Sonrio Co., Ltd. to celebrate Mobile Suit Gundam's 40th anniversary and Hello Kitty's 45th anniversary. A big project which including both side characters and the fans participation, the Gundam vs Hello Kitty Project, has started at the end of March 2019

Participants need to add friend the Gundam Hello Kitty official LINE account and choose the Gundam group or Kitty group. Then accumulate project points by purchasing campaign items to support selected group. For 1000 winners, 500 people from Gundam group and 500 people from Kitty group, who accumulated most project points will be given special prizes.

There were 12 campaigns where Gundam and Kitty competed to see the most selling merchandise and the result was Gundam victory with 8 to 4. With this, The Gundam' promise of victory will be carried out, that is to install a Gundam-themed popcorn vending machine which is similar with Hello Kitty's. On a side note, if it was Hello Kitty the winner, they promised to create a Gunpla design.

One of the campaigns and also the first campaign was....

From April 2 to May 19, 2019, a Marugame Seimen x "Gundam vs Hello Kitty" Campaign will be held at Marugame Seimen nationwide.
For this campaign, a limited design of 90 kinds of "Udon slips" will be distributed, and an "Original Dining Table Set & Original T-Shirt" will be gifted to 600 people by lottery, and you can collect project points.

In this campaign, it was Gundam victory with 46,297pts - Hello Kitty 34,626 pts. You can check the other "Udon slips" in Natalie Comic

There are 3 short animation videos too, 2 minutes long each. No English subtitle, but if you watched many anime's you will understand it a bit. I found this summary from AnimeNewsNetwork. I laughed hard watching episode 3, they turned to SD form lolol. Kitty powerrrr.

Episode 1: Hello Kitty is contacted by Haro via her television set to help Amuro in space. Hello Kitty vows to help him, stating that everyone should be friends. Kitty must be a space pacifist.

Episode 2: Kitty introduces herself to Amuro as Kitty White, which he mistakes as an association with the Earth Federation's White Base. Kitty and Amuro keep trying to communicate but fail (for instance, Amuro also hears "Hello" as "Haro"). When Kitty tries to reason with him about how everyone should be friends, but the pair are attacked by Zaku mobile suits.

Episode 3 "Love - Warrior": Kitty uses a heart-shaped shield to deflect the attacks but it also transforms the Zaku into a cute, SD version. Amuro is scared of Kitty's impressively cute power and flees. Kitty gives chase and manages to transform all of the attacking forces into non-threatening versions in the meantime. Eventually, their hearts are able to connect and Amuro grows to understand Kitty.
