Ok, i've never heard about this The Game Awards thing (you must be thingking what? you are a gamer and you dont know??? Hahaha yea, idk because i was living in a nutshell playing Aion and Blade n Soul for 6 years and rarely reading any news! lol XD), so i did a little bit of searching about it

What is The Game Awards?
It's an annual rewards ceremony in the game industry. Yes, a ceremony! because there is an audience, big screen, host, jury, trophy, etc. So, you can say its an "Oscar ceremony" for the game industry

How do they select the nominees?
They are chosen by the jury, who are the media and video game news organizations from around the world. There are 80+ of them and pretty much i never knew it except the ones from Japan, few of UK and USA. The Jury List

How do they choose the winners?
90% jury voting and 10% fan voting. The fans can vote on every 24 hours. You can vote in here
Psssttt i dont bother voting everyday cause its only 10% XD

This is the official video of The Game Rewards 2018
