Break/Broken Blade Movie

Premiere in 2010
Animation Production Xebec (Chosoku Spinner, Elemental Gelade, Pandora Hearts) and Production I.G. (Blood+, Canaan, The Prince of Tennis)
Director Nobuyoshi Habara (D.N.Angel, Sorcerer Hunters)
Creator Yunosuke Yoshinaga
Music Yoshihisa Hirano (Death Note, Ouran High School Host Club, Strawberry Panic)
Character Design Takushige Norita
Mechanical design Takayuki Yanase (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Toward the Terra, Zegapain)

Synopsis
Rygart Arrow is the only one in his world who lacks the inherent ability to power up quartz, the energy source that makes all of the machines run. Nevertheless, he's pretty well connected. The King and Queen of his country of Krisna happen to be old college friends. But so is Zess, the guy who is leading the army of a neighboring kingdom in an attack on Krisna.

How did it comes to this? There's little time to ponder the implications as an army in giant, mechanized battle suits attacks. Arrow just feels like he's in the way - until he comes across a powerful, ancient mech that no one has yet to be able to figure out how to run. But his natural affinity for the suit's operating mechanism may just turn Arrow into the most important player of all.

Characters of the Week #13

Characters of the Week
  • It consist of Male of the Week and Female of the Week
  • It could be from game, anime, or manga
  • It isnt a poll based. It's only based on my favorite characters
  • I choose characters as characters of the week based on their design or their personality or their position/role
For this week, am going to take characters from Final Fantasy Series in PS One. And no FF VII characters because i didnt play the game puff
Male of the Week#13
Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII

For the male character i choose Squall, our main male protagonist in FF VIII
He is silent, cold, cool, and handsome. That's the best words to describe him ^^ Plus he is rather anti-social person
Am really fond of his hair style, very cool. But am not that fond of his outfit, especially his fur jacket. He looks better with his SEED outfit.

See, looks better and cooler isnt he?
His love story with rinoa is so..... romantic. Meeting in the dance ballroom, they dance, Rinoa left, and Squall couldnt forget her. Awwww...... so sweet ^^

Female of the Week#13
Garnet Til Alexandros XVII from Final Fantasy IX

Since i choose FF VIII character as Male of the Week, so am choosing my favorite female character from FF IX as Female of the Week
And am choosing our Princess Garnet aka Dagger
Her face and hair style is rather similar with Rinoa. Since am fond of Rinoa, so i like Garnet too
She's pretty and defintely gorgeous with her white princess outfit
Am using her as one of my best character in the battle because of her Summon and White Magic ability. For healing of course ^^
Personality is fine by me. She isnt that annoying to me, a standard one

SOTW Round Up 03

Very late with this one. Wednesday was busy with taking screenshots of FF XIII new trailer, and yesterday was busy with my nephew's birthday party. Sorry
Koei Warriors
Winner- Cao Pi
Few entries for this week in KW. But, this one is definetly my favorite
It showing how fresh is the Sprite drink, it made me thirsty XD
Nice splash effect with smudging and the wavy lines effect are good additional. The effect has good flow too, a diagonal flow.
Nice depth, he sharpened the can well
Text is perfect, simple but elegant with diferrent colors and squares
Simple Grafix

SOTW#128: Freestyle

Winner - Hoof
To be honest, this forum SOTW a little bit dying, not many contestants every week
Btw, felt this siggy has unique outlook? I'm beting he's using Topaz effect for the final touch
Lacks depth, he could blur the surrounding BG
No flow, it's okay sometimes i ignored this flow thingy too XD
Text a little bit hard too read, white color is better
What i like from this siggy is the chaotic white lines
Naruto Boards
SOTW#124: The Positive Side of the World

Winner - Jeuel
This guy won again Lol. A very unique theme, the positive side of the world. Never heard an SOTW theme like that before
Anw, contrast style, a colorfull and bright siggy
The colorfull line has depth but the BG (trees) needs more blur
The left part is creative, yeah the squares, text, and texture combination are great
Nice text placement
Cool border, just like his previous winning siggy
Planet Renders
Planet Renders winning siggies didnt satisfy my taste recently XD
No flow, no depth, no text
People vote for it because of the skull? Maybe because it's unique and fits the theme
Sometimes i couldnt understand experts' taste at all Lol
